The Arizona Department of Gaming has reported that bettors wagered $410.1 million in July, a 26.9 percent year-over-year growth but a drop of 9.7 percent compared to the $454.1 million reported in June .
Revenue before deductions was $41.5 million, up 20.1 percent from the $34.6 million generated in July 2023. However, compared to the $46.2 million collected in June, revenue fell 10.2 percent.
Mobile operators dominated, accounting for $404.8 million of the handle. The top two operators, DraftKings and FanDuel, combined for more than half of this. DraftKings collected a $146.4 million handle and $16.1 million in revenue, while FanDuel reported $13.8 million in revenue from a $125.8 million handle. BetMGM took third place in terms of handle and revenue, with $47.7 million and $4.1 million, respectively. Caesars took fourth, followed by bet365 and Fanatics.
The remaining $5.4 million handle was wagered at the state’s retail sportsbooks, including Caesars, FanDuel, DraftKings and BetMGM.
