According to new research conducted by Kindbridge Behavioral Health, people who seek telehealth treatment for gambling problems often see their mental health improve on other fronts with tailored therapy.
Kindbridge clients who exhibited certain comorbidities alongside their gambling issues saw pronounced reductions in levels of depression, anxiety, insomnia, and alcohol use over the course of their treatment.
For example, over the course of a 12-week period, Kindbridge clients exhibiting signs of depression typically went from suffering mild depression to minimal to no depressive symptoms while in treatment. Anxiety levels dropped by a similar amount, while reductions in insomnia and alcohol use were less pronounced but still significant.
