A man allegedly stole a rare bottle of whisky worth AU$62,000 (US$41,318) after distracting staff at the Crown Melbourne casino. He was in a liquor store attached to the property when he asked an employee to see some of the different options they had.

When the worker turned around, the unnamed perpetrator allegedly swiped a limited edition bottle of Johnnie Walker Masters of Flavour, concealing it in his shorts and leaving the premises. Johnnie Walker released only 288 of these bottles and the whisky was aged for at least 48 years.

Law enforcement in Victoria is still searching for the man and released an image of him from surveillance footage.
