The International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) has urged the rest of Latin America to take note of Brazil’s match-fixing tackling rulebook.
As it prepares for the launch of regulated sports betting, Brazil has issued an ordinance that requires all operators willing to partake in the market to become members of an independent integrity monitoring body, such as the IBIA.
With the country poised to become a significant player on the global sports betting map, IBIA has urged other countries in the region to use Brazil as a template and replicate the requirements it sets for operators towards addressing integrity concerns.
