The Florida Gaming Control Commission is looking for a vendor to provide resources and services aimed at preventing compulsive and addictive gambling.
The Commission has initiated an Invitation to Negotiate process, in which vendors can offer recommendations to help deliver optimal value to the state.
“While many Floridians and visitors enjoy legal gaming and sports betting, offering robust resources and valuable services to those who may find themselves impulsively participating in these activities is highly important,” sJulie I. Brown, Vice Chair of the FGCC, said in a news release. “My fellow commissioners and I look forward to the results of this process and to provide progressive resources and scalable services in Florida that will have a clear impact.”
The FGCC regulates several forms of legal gambling in Florida to ensure legal activity, player protection and game integrity. The state has been home to legal sports betting since December 2023, when Hard Rock Bet launched as its only legal betting site. Floridians can also place retail wagers at the state’s six Seminole-owned casinos.
