Data published by the Delaware Lottery has revealed that the state’s retail and online sports betting operators combined for almost $3 million in revenue in September, more than three times the $958,547 collected last September. The figure also marks a month-on-month increase of around 322 percent compared to August.

The latest figures bring the revenue for the 2025 fiscal year above $4.7 million, after revenues of more than $1 million in July and $702,075 in August. With the NFL season in full swing, September’s total also represents a 66.9 percent increase on July and August’s totals combined.

In September, Delaware’s sports betting handle reached $23.2 million, including $19 million spent online through the BetRivers app, which operates in partnership with the state’s three casinos. The remaining $4.2 million was wagered at the state’s three retail sportsbooks, resulting in more than $1 million of the revenue total.

BetRivers at Delaware Park contributed the most to the total, with a handle of almost $13 million and $1.2 million in revenue. Harrington followed with nearly $4 million wagered and revenues of $383,207. Bally’s Dover contributed the remaining $263,554 in revenue from a $2.1 million handle.
