Stake.com has acquired Italy-based sports betting and remote gaming operator Baldo Line, which operates the Idealbet brand. Following the acquisition, Stake will establish an office in Italy and introduce more gaming options to players in the country.

“This acquisition aligns with our strategic ambitions to increase our global footprint, particularly in an established region like Italy, and marks a significant milestone for Stake,” said Brais Pena, chief strategy officer at Easygo, Stake’s technology service provider.

Idealbet will continue to operate under its own brand within the Stake portfolio.

“Since acquiring Baldo Line, we have built a strong foundation for Idealbet through our AGP gaming platform and HubCasino aggregator,” said Simone Pachera (pictured), CEO at former Baldo Line owner Octavian Group.
