Australian Authorities Add More Gambling Sites to List of 1,000+ Banned Platforms

  • Richard Casino and Wanted Win are the latest banned sites
  • Neither of these two operators has a license in Australia

Another two platforms have made their way onto the Australian Communication and Media Authority (ACMA) list of gambling sites that are illegally targeting people in the country.

Wanted Win and Richard Casino are the latest brands to land on the block list that the ACMA sends internet service providers. Neither operator has the necessary license to offer their services in the nation.

the list now contains 1,011 platforms

The ACMA first started cracking down on illegal operators in November 2019 and the list now contains 1,011 platforms.

The authority has warned people that even if a platform appears legitimate, it usually doesn’t have proper consumer protections in place, so nothing can be done if you run into an issue, such as not being able to withdraw your winnings.

Some other notable brands to fall foul of the ACMA in recent months include Jackpoty, Lucky Wins, 50 Crowns, and Zota Bet.
